TAYLORMADE LAUNCH NEW LADIES RANGE

TaylorMade, who can justifiably claim to have the No 1 Driver in Golf, have announced the launch of three new golf club lines designed especially for women.
TaylorMade, who can justifiably claim to have the No 1 Driver in Golf, have announced the launch of three new golf club lines designed especially for women.
They are the Women’s Burner® driver, Women’s Burner fairway woods and Women’s Burner Rescue® hybrids.
TaylorMade say the new range incorporates advanced technologies developed to make it easier for women golfers to swing faster and to launch the ball into the air on a higher, longer-carrying flight.
Each club in the Women’s Burner line is sleek and powerful, and is designed to add distance that players don’t realize they possess.
Women’s Burner clubs feature distinctively beautiful crown markings and employ TaylorMade’s new “SuperFast Technology” to make the club lighter and faster.
That includes extra-light grips and longer, extra-light graphite shafts that make it easier to build more clubhead speed and, as a result, make it easier to get more height and distance.
Additionally, Women’s Burner clubs are being equipped with soft Winn grips and will feature an extremely attractive blue color scheme.
The Women’s Burner Driver
This club features a 460 cc titanium clubhead that’s amazingly forgiving on mishits. Its size, shape and strategic weighting create an extremely high moment of inertia (MOI) that makes the clubhead extremely stable and resistant to twisting when impact is made toward the toe, toward the heel, or high or low on the face.
That reduces ball-speed loss, which reduces distance loss.
The driver also incorporates TaylorMade’s Inverted Cone Technology (ICT), a revolutionary method of clubface construction that enlarges the portion of the clubface that delivers fast ball speed. That means you can miss the center of the face and not suffer a dramatic drop in ball speed.
Thanks to ICT, Burner delivers an incredibly high degree of what TaylorMade calls “effective MOI,” which allows this driver to deliver extremely high ball speed and distance, even when you don’t hit the ball flush in the middle of the clubface. TaylorMade defines effective MOI (eMOI) as the positive influence on ball speed on off-center hits that’s exerted by the combined effects of a driver’s MOI and clubface technology (versus constant-thickness club faces). eMOI in TaylorMade drivers is dramatically higher, and more valuable in terms of its affect on ball speed, than MOI alone, owing to the benefits of TaylorMade’s patented Inverted Cone Technology.
How much forgiveness does Burner’s extreme eMOI provide? The combined positive effects of its high MOI and ICT allow it to deliver the type of high ball speed and distance on mishits that’s equivalent to a driver that measures higher than 5800 MOI with a constant-thickness clubface, if not even better.
The Women’s Burner driver comes equipped with an L-flex graphite shaft and is offered in two lofts, 12° and 10.5°. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) in the US is $360.
Women’s Burner fairway woods feature steel club heads that combine a low and deep center of gravity (CG) with a broad, smooth sole that makes it easy to sweep the ball cleanly off the turf and up in the air on a high, long flight. SuperFast Technology promotes effortless clubhead speed for greater distance.
Additionally, their shallow clubface design delivers increased spin, which keeps the ball in the air longer to promote increased carry and more yardage.
Women’s Burner fairway woods
Thee se clubs also feature an extraordinarily high MOI, making them incredibly forgiving and easy to play. Available in 3-wood (15°), 5-wood (18°) and 7-wood (21°), they all come equipped with an L-flex graphite shaft.
The suggested US retail price (MSRP) is $235 per club.
Women’s Burner Rescue Hybrids
The Rescue hybrids feature a large, confidence-promoting steel clubhead. The low CG makes it easy to get the ball in the air, while the shallow clubface promotes increased spin to extend flight for increased distance. The high MOI promotes maximum stability for exceptional distance and forgiveness on off-center hits.
Like the driver and fairway woods, the Women’s Burner Rescue hybrids incorporate TaylorMade’s new SuperFast Technology to promote faster swing speed and faster ball speed for increased distance.
The crown features TaylorMade’s distinctive SuperFast Technology crown markings. Available in 4 (22°), 5 (25°) and 6 (28°); all equipped with L-flex graphite shaft and at an MSRP of $200 per club.
