Seed balls are relatively new to the market but their aims are ones that many golfers will appreciate.

It was back in 2015 that Dean Klatt completed a round with friends and together the decided it was time to change the price of golf balls.

Like all of us, they knew that high-end tour standard balls are pricey. Moreover the choices can be baffling.

All manufacturers shout that they are the longest or straightest.

Losing these expensive balls hurts.

Klatt and his pals started digging.

They wanted decent balls that didn’t leave a hole in the pocket.

So they formed Seed with the task of, “creating golf gear that delivered great performance for golfers like us, and left enough cash to shout your mates at the bar after a round.”

Seed Golf’s latest launch is the SYNCR which is a novel alignment device variation of its successful SD-15 ball also known as ‘The Country Mile’.

It has been created to improve the way you line up and to improve putting stats in the best way known: taking fewer strokes.

What is striking about the SYNCR design is that it goes right around the ball.

Yes, unlike other similar alignment markings it complete the circumference.

Bold visual

It makes for a bold visual both immediately and when the ball rolls.

‘The Country Mile’ has always been an extremely popular ball with customers and it is not only because of performance every shot – it is also a very hard wearing ball with at least four rounds worth of premium activity.

The SYNCR Country Mile comes in at £20 for a dozen balls.

Founder and CEO Klatt says: “Anyone who plays golf can tell you that when it comes to putting, you need all the help you can get!

“It’s easy to just draw a black line on a normal golf ball and call it a day, but we felt there was more work to be done in terms of developing a design that genuinely makes a difference to your putting.

“With the SYNCR you’re getting the same quality and durability that has made the regular Country Mile so popular, and on top of that we’ve implemented what we feel is a one of the most effective alignment aids out there.”
