Danish shoemaker Ecco has announced that it will introduce a new ‘World Class Ltd Edition’ golf shoe at February’s PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida (Booth # 1119).
Retailing for $430 per pair, this top-of-the-line range will be available at select green grass and off-course Ecco retailers, as well as online at www.eccousa.com, starting in early February.
Offered in traditional white, black, white/black and white/coffee saddle patterns with a reptile print, these distinctive waterproof shoes feature elegant leather uppers showcasing the brand’s new Four Dots logo.
“This is a very finite offering for a select number of golf’s most discerning players,” says Michael Waack, Head of Global Golf at Ecco.
“It’s a truly classic shoe with the advanced comfort and stability that has made Ecco the brand of choice for so many top PGA Tour players.”
An accomplished union of beautiful leather work integrated with a Gore-Tex membrane for complete weather resistance, the World Class Ltd. Edition features:
– Unique sole technology combining genuine leather with a durable TPU heel flick and a super-light cushioning PU midsole
– An internal stabilizer for vital support during the swing
– A removable vegetable-tanned leather insole with the Ecco Comfort Fiber System, which increases air circulation for the perfect inner climate
– Leather welt construction on the outsole for a true gentleman’s look
– Standard tread Champ Stinger cleats for superb traction
Ecco Guarantee a level of quality that cannot be matched by any major footwear manufacturer, each Ecco golf shoe being touched by more than 225 sets of highly-skilled hands during production.
This labor-intensive process, claim Ecco, facilitates the brand’s unrivalled attention to detail that helps discerning players look, feel and play their best.
Ecco men’s golf shoes are worn in competition by scores of international Tour stars, including Fred Couples, Colin Montgomerie, Aaron Baddeley, Stuart Appleby, Thomas Bjorn, Arjun Atwal, Thongchai Jaidee, John Bickerton and others.
All Ecco golf shoes feature a network of built-in technologies to create the ideal platform for the perfect swing. These include a direct-injected, PU-constructed midsole/outsole that:
– Creates a one-piece shoe construction
– Ensures unrivaled durability, flexibility, lightness and weather resistance
– Provides a superior level of cushioning and comfort that does not break down over time, unlike commonly-used materials such as air, rubber and EVA foam.
