In the last two years all of Harrington's hard work has paid off to an astonishing degree, as he has won three of the last six majors. He has never been afraid of grafting away on the range, tinkering with his game and honing a reliable swing. But the real key to success is his mental strength. The Harrington Stare has become a feature of the back nine on Sunday as he locks in on the prize and hunts it down. He has also displayed a canny knack of diverting pressure and he'll need to repeat the trick because he will be swamped with talk of a Paddy Slam in the run-up to his round one tee-time. His form this year has been patchy - he started with a top five in Abu Dhabi but has struggled in America. He putted nicely at Doral and then scored well at Bay Hill to finish 11th but a challenge in Houston last week petered out as he slipped from tied ninth to tied 26th with a final round 77. Seventh and fifth at Augusta in the last two years we know he can play the course, but can he handle the added pressure with so much focus on him?
