Simply sensational in 2009, McIlroy's meteoric rise into the world's top 20 has proved that the hype was justified - the Northern Irish teenager is the real deal. After three top-10 finishes in the early part of the season, McIlroy clinched a first European Tour title in Dubai and followed it up by reaching the quarter-finals at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship - his first World Golf Championship event and also his first professional outing on American soil. A Masters debut can faze some, but with a swing to die for and a temperament to match, expect McIlroy to take to life at Augusta like the proverbial duck to water. It may be unrealistic to expect the youngster to clinch the Green Jacket at the first time of asking, but with the bookies chalking him up at around 25/1 don't be too surprised if he does pull off the unthinkable come Sunday.
