With his power and delicate touch, the big-hitting Cabrera had always looked to have the game for Augusta and he put it all together in spectacular style 12 months ago when beating the faltering Kenny Perry and Chad Campbell in a play-off to become the first Argentine to win the green jacket. It added to his 2007 US Open triumph and meant that the former caddie from Cordoba had won two of the last eight majors - a feat made more remarkable by the fact that he hadn't managed a regular Tour win in either Europe or the US since 2005 and still hasn't to this day. It's clear that tough, major courses seem to bring out the best in Cabrera and in particular he has a liking for Augusta where he's racked up a win, three top 10s, a top 15 and a top 25 in the last nine years. He went into last year's Masters on the back of two missed cuts so the fact that his 2010 form appears modest shouldn't be a concern. If he can deal with the added pressures of being the champion he could finish in the shake-up again.
