Paula Creamer was lucky to escape with a sore shoulder and whiplash after being involved in a car accident in Thailand.
Creamer and fellow LPGA pros Suzann Pettersen and Ai Miyazato were part of a five-car crash while they were on their way to the airport following the Honda LPGA Thailand tournament.
Luckily, nobody was seriously injured in the accident.
"Thanks for all your good wishes. I really do have great fans and wonderful friends," Creamer wrote on Twitter. "I was part of a high speed 5 car accident on way to BKK.
"I was in the middle car and felt like a ping pong ball. I saw doctors today no concussion, sore shoulder and moderate whiplash.
"I will probably be sore for several weeks. My air bag did not deploy. Had seat belt on thank goodness."
The LPGA released a statement indicating that all the players involved were in good condition and were hopeful of fulfilling their commitments for the week.
"With great concern for the players, caddies and families involved, we've been working through the necessary channels to gather available and accurate information beyond the original wire report... although follow up information trickled in slowly as players traveled from Thailand to Singapore," the statement read.
"At this point, we've now been in contact with each of the players involved and their representatives. We're glad to report that there are no serious injuries. Paula and Ai have been seen by doctors, x-rays have checked out ok, and each is receiving excellent follow up care. All players say they are hopeful of competing this week at the HSBC Women's Champions in Singapore. We will update as necessary."
