NEC ready for the Golf Show

Birmingham is ready and waiting for the arrival of thousands of golfers at the third NEC Golf Show.

Last year's event was a great success and organisers are hopeful that the show will continue to grow and boost the industry.

It opens on Friday 27th November and runs through to Sunday 29th November.

This year's highlights include:

  • Big name brands including TaylorMade, Yonex and Nike.

  • The Sub-4 stand - the biomechanists that feature in the Guinea Pig column on Golf 365.

  • Exclusive show only deals at the event's official retail partner american golf whose large on-site store will take up 500sqm.

  • The official public launch of luxury British golf fashion brand UKKO which offers golfers a contemporary style with "green to bar appeal".

  • Regular stage shows including the popular quiz Shankety Shank.

  • Free coaching from top professionals who can help everyone from novices to single figure players.

  • A £25 voucher for golfing holiday specialist YourGolfTravel.com

  • Plus, anyone holing a 100 foot putt at YourGolfTravel.com's stand will win a short golf break.

  • A free sample of fine malt courtesy of Singleton of Dufftown, the show's official whisky.

  • Celebrity appearances from Tim Henman, David Seaman, Peter Shilton, Willie Thorne, Alec Stewart, Ralph Little and Ian Wright.

    The show is open from 10am to 5pm on Friday and Saturday, 10am to 4pm on Sunday.

    Tickets cost £15 on the door and are £10 in advance, with juniors (age 12 and under) getting in free if accompanied by an adult.
