Stenson sets PGA clubhouse lead

Sweden's Henrik Stenson is the clubhouse leader at six under par after firing a second successive round of 67 in the PGA Championship at Baltusrol on Friday.

The Open Championship winner made front nine birdies on the first, third and eighth holes and followed that up with a birdie on the 18th, with his only dropped shots coming on the 12th and 13th for his three-under 67.

A shot behind are Germany's Martin Kaymer and American Patrick Reed. Kaymer posted a solid 69 while Reed's superb 65 was the low round of the day so far.

American world number three Jordan Spieth is a shot back at three under after a three-under 67. Spieth was four under on his front nine, but could only play the back in one over.

Overnight leader Jimmy Walker is among the late starters which include the grouping of Rory McIlroy, Jason Day and Phil Mickelson.
