Kisner clinches RSM Classic

Kevin Kisner eased to his maiden PGA Tour win at the RSM Classic in Georgia on Sunday.

The American closed with at six under 64 at Seal Island Golf Club, leaving him on 22 under for the tournament, enough to for a six-stroke win over fellow countryman Kevin Chappell.

The watershed win was a long time coming for Kisner, who has had four runners-up finishes in the last 19 starts. He was simply in a league of his own over the weekend, carding just two bogeys along with his 22 birdies and an eagle.

Graeme McDowell continued his good run of form, backing up last week's win with a third place finish. The Northern Irishman was lucky to escape with a bogey on the 16th after his ball was well and truly plugged in a greenside bunker.

Jon Curran finished alone in fourth on 13 under and Sweden's Freddie Jacobson followed him on 12 under par...
