Brandt Snedeker enjoyed a magical 2012, winning three titles, including the Tour Championship but he's got even bigger plans in the pipeline heading into 2013.
The 31-year-old admitted that it's been a "crazy year" as he won the Farmers Insurance Open, The Heritage and the Tour Championship, a victory which saw him claim the 2012 FedEx Cup and the $10 million prize that came with it.
Added to his wins, Snedeker enjoyed seven top 10 finishes on the 2012 PGA Tour and tied for third at The Open.
Such form has seen the fast-talking American rise from 38th at the start of the year to 10th in the latest world rankings. While some players may be content with such a rise, Snedeker is dreaming bigger, with an eye on the number one ranking.
"It's very doable," the affable Snedeker told reporters.
"Look where I jumped from in the world rankings this year, getting to where I am now.
"Having another year like this year next year and I can really get up there. To get to No. 1 in the world you've got to be more consistent. You look at the way (top-ranked) Rory (McIlroy) is playing right now.
"He's not only winning but he's giving himself a chance to win almost every week, and that's huge. That's what you have to do to be No. 1 in the world."
