Kerr claims LPGA Tour win No 15

Cristie Kerr shot a final round of 69 to win the Lorena Ochoa Invitational trophy and a cheque of $200,000.
The American carded six birdies and three bogeys at Guadalajara Country Club to finish with a four-round total of 16-under-par 272 and one shot ahead of compatriot Angela Stanford and overnight leader Inbee Park.
The win was the 35-year-old Kerr's 15th on the LPGA Tour, but her first since 2010.
"It feels amazing," she said.
"You know, coming in those last couple of holes it didn't feel like I had won before. I kind of just squeaked in. I won by a shot, that's all that it takes, I've lost plenty of tournaments by a shot, but winning by a shot feels a lot better."
Park finished with a level-par 72 while second-round leader Stanford overcame a third-hole bogey to finish with four-under for the day.
Stacy Lewis and Candie Kung were tied for fourth, but the result was enough to help the former to secure the LPGA Player of the Year honours.
World number two Lewis is the first US golfer to win the points-based award since Beth Daniel in 1994.
"After I finally made my last putt there on 18, I think it finally hit me," she said. "It's just crazy to think that there have been so many great American players and I am the one after Beth in '94.
"It's just crazy to even think of. I mean it's an honour to win the award, and I think this will spur on with the rest of the Americans to get out and keep playing well because Solheim Cup is coming up."
