Tiger Woods is red-hot favourite with Sky Bet for the USPGA Championship.

Fresh from successive victories in the Buick Open and the WGC Bridgestone Invitational, the world No1 heads to Hazeltine National as 13/8 favourite to win his fifth USPGA title.

Sky Bet go 12/1 that the American leads from start to finish and 5/4 he finishes in the top ten after the first round. He is also 4/1 in the latest USPGA odds to be leading after 36 holes.

Woods last claimed the USPGA title in 2007 when he beat Woody Austin by two shots having led by five in the third and fourth rounds, and the bookmaker go 10/1 he will win the title by five shots or more.

Missed cut

The 14-time major champion missed the cut at the Open championship at Turnberry last month and it is 16/1 for a repeat in Minnestota this week.

Sky Bet's senior golf compiler John Rhodes said: "Sky Bet are offering a host of Tiger Woods specials as the world no 1 comes off the back of two wins in two weeks, and will be looking to avoid not winning a major title in 2009.

"If you think he will repeat his feat in the Open where he missed the cut then he is a 16/1 shot to do so, but more likely is that Woods will romp away with a victory, and he's 10/1 to win by five or more shots."

Phil Mickelson is Woods' nearest rival in the outright market at 22/1 along with Padraig Harrington with Lee Westwood, who went close at Turnberry, a 25/1 shot or 16/1 in the market without Woods.

Ross Fisher is 4/1 to finish as top Englishman with Open champion Stewart Cink 12/1 to be the top American in the market without Woods.
