Too many weekend golfers worry too much about their results on the putting green. Don't. Worrying about whether your ball goes in the hole will only help create additional pressure and pressure is a putter's greatest enemy.

The best way to avoid this problem is to get a good idea of the line you must take to the hole, pick a spot on the line a few feet out over which to roll your ball, then, concentrating on distance and keeping your eyes glued to the ball, stroke it towards the hole, always keeping your head down and your body still.

Sometimes it will go in, other times it won't, but with your new method, you should be able to sink and much higher percentage of your putts than you used to.
