Make fairway woods easier to hit

Fairway woods from the grass can greatly help you score better. The best way to hit these clubs is to play the ball a few inches back from your front heel.
Make a long, smooth backswing and swing down and through the ball so that you take a slight divot.
You do not need to swing hard as the longer shaft and shallow face will give you all the distance that you need.
You goal is to make solid contact and then let the club do its work.
