PING Collection has been buoyed by the overwhelmingly positive feedback it has received from the golf trade following the recent launch of its innovative, all-in-one Torsion waterproof trouser that form part of its Autumn/Winter 2010 range.
Not only does the Torsion trouser ensure golfers will look the part on the fairways and in the clubhouse this winter, it also means they will no longer need to carry an extra pair of waterproof pants in their golf bags on those inclement winter days.
Constructed from 94% polyester, 6% rayon and with a 100% polyester mesh lining, Torsion is wind resistant, low noise and most importantly 100% waterproof over 8000mm and breathable over 5000gm sqm over 24 hours.
"Since we launched this multi-functional waterproof trouser to the golf trade we have been amazed by the fantastic feedback we have had back on its remarkable versatility and all-around performance levels," commented Simon McGuigan, Managing Director, PING Collection Europe Ltd.
The Torsion waterproof trouser is available in a classic Smoke Multi colour option and has a suggested retail price of £76/€95.
For Autumn/Winter 2010, PING Collection designers have created a range of essential winter wear that focuses on functionality, bold colours, use of quality fabrics, technical performance and stylish fits. The use of subtle argyle, check and PING i 15 inspired detailing ensures that each and every garment from knitwear and polo-shirts to trousers and waterproofs makes a statement both on the fairways and in the clubhouse.
Lead by three bold colour palettes; HYDRO (Smoke, White, Silver, Black), PLANTANE (Smoke, White, Silver, Black) and CHILLI RED (Smoke, White, Silver, Black), this innovative and technical range coordinates effortlessly throughout and caters for the tastes of the modern golfer. A range of neutral colours are also available and can be combined with each of the new palettes.
