It seems as if it is "gang up on Tiger" time, and everyone appears to be throwing their punches in. I do believe that there is some truth to the allegations that he cheated on his wife, but I do NOT believe that all the women who have now come out of the woodwork have had affairs with him. I think instead that it is all about money and, since one of them has received quite a bit for selling the e-mails and telephone message that he stupidly left for her, they all want their 15 minutes of fame and the money that the tabloids and other media outlets are willing to pay them for their titillating, salacious tales, whether they are true or not! Tiger is taking a beating for being an adulterer and there should be some consequences for his actions. However, I feel strongly that this is a PRIVATE matter and one that should be resolved between Elin and him. He does not owe us an explanation and we should not expect one. After all, when it comes right down to it, he is simply a spokesman for the products he endorses and I personally don't buy something because of the endorser but because I like it and what it does for me and my family. I could care less if the spokesperson is Tiger, a hobbit, or a leprechaun. I wish people would leave him alone and allow him time and space to try to heal his marriage, and re-commit himself to Elin and his kids. Tiger is not the first person, famous or otherwise, whose human frailties have been exposed to the public, and he certainly will not be the last. He did not invent infidelity, it was happening even when Christ walked the face of this earth. And, like Jesus said, "Let him that is without sin cast the first stone." So, maybe those sanctimonious, perfect people who are calling for his head on a platter should remove the mote from their own eye before they sit in judgment of the man.
